I had you going there for a second didn't I? No? Well shoot I will have to try harder next time I suppose. First off let me welcome you to the very first review. And its on one of my favorite printing businesses! Now there you go thinking that its a one way trip on the Shinkansen(a bullet train) to Boresville population you @_@' and i would love to inform you that you are wrong. But unfortunately my friend I can not personally guarantee your nonboredom as you read my thoughts and opinions of a printing company. Instead all i can do is hope that my first review doesn't bomb horribly and i get flamed by my readers, assuming that there are any of you out there....
Anyway should we get this show on the road? I would like to think is it time, so here we go.
"We love to print" or so their slogan says. And i would like to agree because only a company dedicated to printing and printing alone could offer such high quality merchandise with out asking a mint for their products. Now I am not going and will not lie to you, they can be a bit pricey compared to a few other printing options that are out there. But if you want quality over quantity Moo.com is the company to go with. They offer three types of paper all premium in nature but all differing in types from Matte to Glossy to Green. And i dont mean green tinted paper, i mean green as in recycled which will cost you maybe a dollar more. But what is a dollar when it comes to doing your part to help the planet? I mean 22.99 for 50 high quality recycled business cards with unique designs and vivid quality isn't all that horrible if you ask me. Or you can opt to go with the same johnnyonenote that most everyone else flocks to because of that months gimmick. Personally I've always been a fan of quality versus quantity. Meaning id rather pay a bit for something then save a dollar or two and get poop in return. For example, all the paper used is a nice weight (ranging from 16pt to 32pt) meaning that its not flimsy enough that i breeze will tear through and not so heavy that people think you are handing them a debit card and not your business card. And the ink they use pops right off the card, no it doesn't rub off or anything like, but is so vivid that it doesn't stand unnoticed in a card holder.
Also at Moo there are no hidden fees. You can print full color on both sides of your card for the same price as printing a full color single sided card at other places. Shoot you can fully customize you card if you feel the need to. Or you can partial customize your card by using one of the graphics available in the extensive gallery and customizing the color of the text and so one at no extra charge.
But they do not offer just business cards. No, they offer post cards, greeting cards, stickers, labels, and a few other items all made of quality material with vivid coloring.
And its not the just the quality of merchandise that i like so much. Its the printing and shipping times as well. When I ordered my custom cards it took a week, if that long including printing, to receive my order. And took even less to receive my order using images from the gallery.
While we are on the topic of imagery Moo offers all their images for the same price, unlike other business that offer the same over rated and over used limited graphics for one price and then offering all their over used graphics for another higher price claiming premium services. And the images being offered are not some stock images, but they are unique graphics made available to Moo by very talented designers.
But don't just take my word for it go check out Moo.com for yourself they offer free samples. Go take advantage of them and make your own decisions, but i highly suggest that you use Moo.com for your next printing project.
I hope this review has inspired you to do your research on different printing companies instead of just following the crowd and to choose quality over quantity. Until next time remember my friends to always
